Environmental Sustainability Program
Last modified: June 2023
Dale Medical Products, Inc. performs light manufacturing operations and in doing so, works to maintain the environment by following the required provisions set out by the US EPA, (Environmental Protection Agency) as well as State and Local requirements. Generally, the areas of concern are Air, Water and Waste controls as follows:
- Air – Dale Medical does not emit a large amount of Green House Gasses where local permitting would be required. Current emissions are only from facility heat sources as there are no emissions associated with our manufacturing process. These emissions are monitored through diligent maintenance of the equipment.
- Water – Dale Medical does not have a wastewater discharge that would require an on-site waste water treatment system; therefore no local permitting is required for the facility. Basic conservation principles are employed for domestic water that is used in the facility.
- Waste – Dale Medical does not generate any hazardous waste in our manufacturing operations nor use any hazardous materials in our processes. Whenever possible, by-products of manufacturing such as corrugated materials and plastic containers are recycled through contracted sources. Non-hazardous waste materials are disposed of properly through contracted sources.
Dale Medical is committed to sustaining the environment and will continue to do what is needed in this regard.
